Rai-Lee is from a village on the northern coast of Gensaloh. He was expected to become dignified part of the village's Political Party, which recruits pupils at eighteen. But everything went wrong when a mysterious man showed up.
The village welcomed this man; they rarely had any visitors and this one was kind. Rai-Lee knew it was all an act when he found out the man was actually a Necromancer with a plan to wipeout the entire village.
Rai-Lee faced him before he could cause any damage. In the end, they both died.
Rai-Lee without knowing it, reawakened later, to find he was in a coffin. Two of the village kids found him, and were frightened by him.
He finds later that he is actually dead. He has no pulse in his veins or heart. When he meets Malzu, it amazes the boy.
"A zombie with a soul and will that serves no master."
Malzu follows Rai-Lee, as he interests him. The young Necromancer also claims he can find a cure to restore life to Rai-Lee.
